About Heaven Sent

My name is Angel Papineau, and I am the shearer behind Heaven Sent Shearing. I am are a third-year shearer prioritizing small farms in the Midatlantic. I’m excited to help your animals get as clean and comfortable as possible.

I have attended shearing schools in Minnesota, Maryland, Tennessee and Vermont taught by some of the country’s leading shearers. I’ve been working with Anne Shroeder of Shroeder Shearing, and have worked on a crew with Altitude Shearing.

Under these instructors, I have learned a balanced approach to animal care that considers animal safety and comfort along with efficient and accurate technique.

Prior to shearing, I vegetable farmed for 8 years in and around my home of the city of Philadelphia, followed by working as a project manager at Cultivemos, a network that aimed to improve behavioral health awareness, literacy, access, and outcomes for farmers, ranchers, and farmworkers in the Northeast.
